As usual with the slowness of updates for the site(nothing new here i believe >.>). While it is *somewhat* true that im a big slacker and more or less would munch up any amount of excuse for slacking to play WoW watch animes, it just happens to me that a chain of unfortunate events befalling towards the blog myself.

Slight announcement: sadly DMM will be on this slowpoke pace until im done with my IRL work project which involved me working until night getting home around 10-11pm or even later. And as mentioned, with WoW new season arena opening up, and the slowpoke fact that im still not a 80 like the rest of the kewl kidz, i gotta put in some extra effort in playing catch up with the damn world. Now, i did mention announcement right? thats right – LookingFor WRITERS/CONTRIBUTORS FOR DMM. there you go. Fear not, for i have redemption for my slowpoke sins. As some of you may have guessed, thats right! I got invited to be an affiliated blogger for Comic Fiesta 2008, and got a kewl kidz klub – dubbed: KKK media pass! Awesome…right? RIGHT?!
Honestly speaking though, it really isnt much of an update, more so if you do actually visit CF08 official webby. But hey, copy-pasta news is better than no news at all, right?
So here you are, a FLURRY of copy-pastas.
“Hell, its about time.” <– i know right? lol. Like, it could’ve been out latest tuesday, but nooooo, tmnut screamyx decided to give me a nice surprise buttsecks, and threw me back to the stoneage. So like, i was stuck with some 2KB/sec uploads that constantly time out, and some filtered out 140ish pictures (just the first day – saturday) or so to upload to the server. Like yeah, not gonna happen.
Anyways off with the rage, more AFA08! So, like the usual eager fanboi packing his stuff for the trip, i magically left out my handphone as i left it to charge. And thanks to some crappy accident, or more specifically, THANK YOU MALAYSIANS for raping the traffic by slowing/stopping down their god damned cars to watch the scene, i never got to turn back to grab it.
Hey everyone and once again i welcome you all for yet another late update. (almost 1 week rofl) As ive promissed from the last update, here i bring you, a “minor” ACF’08 update 🙂 Why minor if you may ask? I’ll be honest: i ended up sleeping + lazying till around 5ish pm, and only reach Berjaya Times Square around 6+PM. By the time I’m there, the cosplay competition came to an end with the grand final performance.
Thankfully, the gang at TFM informed me that i havent missed much and the entire event is just so-so. So we just hang out as usual, and even go our own (and mind you, MUCH better) cosplayers thanks to Aiko’s (can visit her blog via the link on the sidebar) friends 😀
As i need to get my EPF statement + prepare for AFA’08, again, i will spare you guys the long essays and start on with the entire gallery load.
Remember the part i mentioned “Lich King doesnt completely dominate my mind“? Yeap, i epic failed that. Anyways, my first experience with WOTLK is with a DeathKnight (aka DK) DESPITE how i’ve mentioned that i wont hop on the DK bandwagon and just level my Rogue. Unfortunately, (or fortunately?) the WOTLK installation process storytelling Arthas’s story from the very beginning since he was born until he became a DK, and later on a Lich King and sat on the frozen throne with an orchestrated music and choir singing as the background music is well, lets just say im just too easily suckered in for THAT much effort.
As the first picture on the top shown, thats my Yami-chan I’ve created for my DK, named after the character “Konjiki no Yami” aka “Golden Darkness” from the anime ToLove Ru (trouble). I’ve sorta ran outta idea on what the hell to name my new DK, or what kinda race (ANY race can be a DK /facepalm) and looks i want my DK to be. So i look around for some inspiration, and there it is – my Yami-chan figurine staring right at me. There it was: THAT IS IT! It HAS to be her. So I’ve created a DK and modeled + named after her as close as i could.
I present you a gallery of the entire process from the beginning of the “introduction” stages until shes a full fledge DK. Level 55-58. “Segmented” in 3 stages.
The first thing i did, the moment i get to roam around the starting area necropolis, was:
Another of the most memorable part of the DK introduction quests, was the invasion of Light’s hope Chapel (LHC). Its just… totally epic. Imagine those invasion scenes from 300, Troy, LOTR and so forth. That kinda epic cept in a lot smaller scale. (id imagine having over 10-20k units would totally kill anyone’s PC) I’ll save you the long winded description and show you guys the pictures(as usual, click for full resolution pictures):

With the above picture, i suppose you know what’s coming. Again, another belated post, as i was supposed to get this done yesterday but hey, cant defy the Lich King‘s will now can we? I thought Malaysia’s going to be following US timezone release, which would be around Friday 1pm, apparently not, as it was pushed ahead (as with US themselves btw) to Thursday having a simultaneous release for WOTLK and so i had to rush for it after work to ALL IT (they were having some queue for freebies, like, 22″ LCD YO!) at Low Yat Plaza to grab my own copy.
So like, i managed to grab Sichiri along, since he got a camera phone (i know, its crap, but something at this point is better than nothin) where i have nothing to snap pictures for the event. When we arrived ALL IT at around 6:40? 6:50pm, like… lolwut? Wheres the party? Upon asking a staff, we just realized that it was over. (despite the damn thing saying it starts on 7pm lolwut?) Cant help but have the constant feeling that the ALL IT staff(s) are having the following look on us:
Anyways, i got myself a copy for MYR165 along with goodie bag, had some lol beef ball noodles with Sichiri, and head home for the win. Without further delays, here are the pictures of my loot:
